BBQ Pot Pie

So this is a recipe I've been thinking of doing for quite some time, and I never really got around to it.    I've never really heard of a BBQ pot pie before, but the flavors seem to go so well together it just seemed like a no brainer to try out.   So I did, and the results were fantastic.  I will absolutely be making this again.





  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Make the cornbread pie crust
  3. Spread it out in what ever dish you plan on baking it in.
  4. Put a layer of meat on the bottom.
  5. Add some BBQ sauce on top of the meat
  6. Add your corn, pepper, garlic, and onion.
  7. Add a layer of cheddar cheese
  8. Add BBQ sauce
  9. Add another layer of meat
  10. Add more cheddar cheese
  11. Add BBQ sauce
  12. Top it off with the cornbread pie crust, folding the edges over to connect it with the bottom.... add slits to the top for venting.
  13. Cook in oven for 45 minutes.
  14. When done, throw a little bit of cheddar cheese on top and broil it for about 2 minutes until cheese is bubbling.
  15. Let it sit and cool for 10 minutes.
